Summary

The study reports on a selective indole alkylation reaction using Ir-catalyzed borrowing hydrogen methodology with amino alcohols as nitrogen-containing electrophiles. This approach highlights the effectiveness of the method in facilitating this type of reaction.

Study at a glance

Key finding The selective indole alkylation reaction is effectively achieved using Ir-catalyzed borrowing hydrogen methodology with amino alcohols.

Abstract

AbstractThe selective indole alkylation reaction applying the Ir‐catalyzed‐borrowing hydrogen methodology and using amino alcohols (II), (V), (VII) as suitable nitrogen‐containing electrophiles is reported.
