Summary
Regular contemplative mental training did not significantly alter endocrine markers of long-term stress. The study examined whether such training could reduce stress hormone levels, but found no substantial changes compared to control conditions. This suggests that contemplative practices may not directly influence physiological stress indicators over extended periods.
