The Kuda Lumping dance in Manunggal Karya Village, Pohuwato Regency, is a traditional Javanese art form preserved by transmigrants since 1981, serving as a cultural identity and community unifier. Its presentation consists of an opening act with seven structured movements and a main act featuring mystical spirit possession. Key elements—movement, floor patterns, makeup, costumes, music, properties, and venue—correlate to create unified meaning. The dance's uniqueness includes self-flagellation and audience involvement through possession. It carries philosophical meanings of spiritual strength, character building, and unification, demonstrating harmonious cultural acculturation where Javanese culture is maintained within the Gorontalo context.
