Virtual mindfulness interventions to promote well-being in adults: A mixed-methods systematic review.

J Affect Disord January 4, 2022 Joy Xu, Helen Jo, Leena Noorbhai et al. 30 citations

A systematic review of virtual mindfulness-based interventions for adults aged 19 to 40 in developed countries found that practices such as basic mindfulness, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and the Learning 2 BREATHE (L2B) program generally improved well-being. The review, which followed PRISMA guidelines and used a mixed-methods approach, analyzed heterogeneous studies qualitatively due to diverse designs. Modified versions of these interventions can be delivered virtually, offering an accessible way for adults to enhance their well-being.
