The Universe That Dreams Through Us: Nested Consciousness, Divine Interior, and the Soul's Return to the Whole

A speculative metaphysical framework called Nested Cosmic Awareness proposes that awareness exists at multiple interconnected layers—physical, biological, personal, relational, cultural, institutional, cosmic, and divine—each with distinct horizons. The framework introduces concepts such as Recursive Noetic Layering, the Relative Unconsciousness Principle, and the Divine Interior Hypothesis, and places cosmopsychism, panentheism, Christian theology, quantum physics, and cellular bioenergetics into dialogue without using scientific concepts as proof of God, soul, or postmortem survival. Human organizations are examined as potential sites of Institutional Illumination or Institutional Possession. The paper offers propositions, falsification criteria, ethical implications, and a transdisciplinary research agenda.

The article places cosmopsychism, panentheism, Christian creation theology, body–soul anthropology, quantum physics, and cellular bioenergetics into careful dialogue without treating scientific concepts as proof of God, soul, cosmic consciousness, or postmortem survival. Genesis and the Trinity serve as theological boundary comparators, while human organizations are examined as possible sites of Institutional Illumination or Institutional Possession. Situated within Francisco M. Martinez’s Mythotechnic Fiction and Mythic Authority research program, the paper uses fiction as a constructed interpretive laboratory and provides propositions, rival explanations, falsification criteria, ethical implications, and a transdisciplinary research agenda.
