A survey of over 1,500 European healthcare professionals reveals that 65% believe psychedelics hold promise for mental health conditions. While 40% are comfortable discussing these treatments with patients, major barriers remain. Lack of specialized training affects 70% of respondents, and regulatory hurdles concern 80%. Countries like the Netherlands, Portugal, and Switzerland show the most positive outlook, indicating a growing readiness to explore these innovative approaches for conditions like depression and PTSD.
