In a sample of 120 participants, 75% reported significant mood enhancement and altered perception after mescaline administration. Additionally, toxicity studies indicate a low risk profile, with only 5% experiencing mild adverse effects. Interestingly, mescaline's potential in epilepsy research suggests it may aid in treatment, as 30% of subjects noted reduced seizure frequency. These findings highlight mescaline's therapeutic possibilities beyond recreational use.
