Summary
Phenethylamines, particularly p-dialkylamino-β-phenethylamines and 9-(β-aminoethyl)julolidine, show significant potential in medicinal chemistry. An analysis of various mescaline analogs revealed that these compounds exhibit unique structural characteristics, enhancing their chemical reactivity and synthesis capabilities. In a study involving 50 synthesized compounds, 80% demonstrated promising biological activity.
