A new detection method for N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT) combines electrogenerated chemiluminescence with a molecularly imprinted polymer, achieving high sensitivity and selectivity. The approach enables reliable measurement of DMT at low concentrations, which could aid in forensic or biomedical analysis.
