Oregon's 2023 laws regulating psilocybine services require licensed facilities and trained facilitators for supervised sessions. A clinical toxicologist's commentary reviews the final rules, highlighting issues such as non-clinical facilitators' scope of practice, prevention and management of adverse drug reactions, and toxicological uncertainties about dosing for people with mental health or other medical conditions.
