A retrospective study of symptom patterns of cannabis-induced psychosis.

The study examined whether cannabis psychosis shares a consistent pattern of symptoms with schizophrenia and mania. Data from patient case notes showed that age and hospital stay duration were similar across the three groups. While some differences in symptom distribution were found, no consistent symptom pattern unique to cannabis psychosis could be demonstrated.
