Mysticizing medicine: Incorporating nondualism into the training of psychedelic guides
December 1, 2023 Valeria McCarroll
Contemporary psychedelic medicine faces a challenge in supporting clients who have transpersonal and mystical experiences within a Western medical model grounded in materialism, reductionism, and dualism. The article examines the limitations of the modern Western paradigm and explores how nondualism could be incorporated into future training for psychedelic guides.
