A cross-disciplinary model called "Bio-Consciousness Unified Field Theory" equates DNA with the Alaya-vijnana (the eighth consciousness in Yogacara Buddhism) and maps the Eight Vijnanas onto modern molecular biology. Integrating quantum biology and Jungian psychology, the argument proposes that the Alaya-vijnana exhibits non-local properties at the quantum level and is highly isomorphic with Jung's collective unconscious at a fundamental cosmic level. The work suggests that life is not only a combination of matter and information but also a resonance between the quantum field and cosmic consciousness.
