Mindfulness training significantly improved sleep quality among pregnant women in their second and third trimesters. In a randomized clinical trial, 98 pregnant women were divided into an intervention group (50 women) receiving six 90-minute mindfulness sessions over two months and a control group (48 women) receiving routine care. Sleep quality and psychological measures (anxiety, stress, depression) were assessed before, after, and one month following the intervention. The mindfulness group showed meaningful improvements in sleep quality, and scores for anxiety, stress, and depression also changed significantly over the study period. Mindfulness interventions can be used to enhance psychological wellbeing and reduce anxiety and stress during pregnancy.
