Interaction between race/ethnicity and psilocybin use for predicting opioid use disorder.

Among individuals who have used psilocybin, the relationship between that use and later opioid use disorder varies by race and ethnicity. The study examines how race and ethnicity modify the association between psilocybin use and the risk of developing opioid use disorder. The findings indicate that the interaction between race/ethnicity and psilocybin use is a significant predictor of opioid use disorder, suggesting that the effects of psilocybin on opioid-related outcomes are not uniform across different racial and ethnic groups.
