A Comparative Study of Entanglement in Tantra Sadhana and Quantum Physics: Understanding the Union of Shiva-Shakti in the Context of Quantum Non-Locality

International Journal of Jyotish Research January 1, 2026 Urmila Sanadhya, V. K. Choudhary

A parallel is drawn between the union of Śiva and Śakti in Tantric practice and quantum entanglement, where both challenge reductionist views of reality. In Tantra, this union represents the experiential realization of non-dual consciousness, dissolving the separation between observer and observed. Quantum physics reveals non-local correlations between entangled particles that transcend classical spatial limits. The paper argues that tantric metaphysics offers an experiential model of interconnectedness, while quantum theory provides a scientific articulation of the same principle, contributing to dialogues on consciousness and holistic understanding of the universe.
