The paper synthesizes existing research to improve clinical practice with clients who report jinn possession, arguing that culturally competent care requires integrating these perspectives. It suggests that dismissing spirit possession beliefs can harm therapeutic relationships, whereas acknowledging them may enhance treatment outcomes.
