Over recent decades, phenomenological method has gained attention in qualitative research. This article examines the relationship between phenomenology and psychology, focusing on how methodology and subjectivity connect in scientific research. It first discusses the possibility of applying phenomenology in qualitative studies, the inconsistency of interpretations of phenomenological contributions to science, and the risk of incompatibility with the objective dimension of experimental science. The second part explores the distinction between phenomenological psychology and transcendental phenomenology, highlighting the significance of Husserl's Amsterdam Lectures.
