The Concept of Love in Ibn Sina's Philosophical Mysticism: A Synthesis of Rationality and Sufism

Ibn Sina's philosophy, often associated with logic and rationalism, also contains a deep Sufistic dimension centered on love. Love is not merely an emotion but a universal energy present in all existence, animate or inanimate. This love is a manifestation of God, who is both the subject and the ultimate object of love as Absolute Goodness and Perfection. True love enables humans to connect with God, reach the highest spiritual station, and attain genuine happiness. Ibn Sina calls such a person an Arif.
