The concept of time in philosophy: A comparative study between Theravada Buddhist and Henri Bergson's concept of time from Thai philosophers' perspectives

Time has two main concepts: physical time, which is objective, and psychological time, which is subjective and mind-dependent. In Theravada Buddhist philosophy, time does not exist independently. Henri Bergson similarly argued that real time, which he called "duration," exists only in consciousness. This research critically examines and compares Buddhist and Bergson's concepts of time, identifying similarities and differences based on Thai philosophers' viewpoints, without aiming to finalize the philosophical argument.
