Salvia Divinorum: A Case Report

A patient developed renal failure and rhabdomyolysis after remaining immobile for four days following abuse of Salvia divinorum. The patient used no additional drugs. The report suggests that high doses of Salvia divinorum may have a longer duration of action than usual and that substance dependence is associated with low socio-economic status.
