A New Life for Gestalt Therapy: How the Laws of Consciousness Mechanics and the Ekvilibro Game Transform the Work with Awareness, Contact, and Polarities

Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research) July 17, 2026 О.в. Бодров

This theoretical paper connects Fritz Perls' Gestalt therapy concepts—awareness, contact boundary, figure and ground, unfinished gestalts, polarities, the paradoxical theory of change, avoidance mechanisms, dreams, and responsibility—with the laws of the mechanics of consciousness (Ekvilibro) and the Ekvilibro Game method. Awareness is defined as activation of the Observer, stopping automatic movement between duality poles. The contact boundary is where the Observer emerges between 'I' and 'world'. Figure and ground follow the Third Law: each figure has a paired ground. Unfinished gestalts are frozen dualities with high identification mass. Polarities are inseparable opposites.

The Journey of "Furthur" in the Summer of 1964 and its Significance in the Changing Subcultures of the USA

Dialog so vremenem November 29, 2021 О.в. Бодров, Андрей Владимирович Закиров

In the 1960s, a counterculture emerged in the United States, characterized by the psychedelic revolution, nonconformism, generational conflict, anti-war activism, and social experimentation. This period saw the beat generation of the 1950s transform into the hippie subculture of the 1960s. A pivotal event was beatnik Neil Cassidy joining Ken Kesey's commune, the Merry Pranksters. Their 1964 bus trip, called "Further," acted as a catalyst for this cultural shift.
