The Integrative Paradigm of Sufi Psychology

Sufi psychology, rooted in Islamic mysticism, emphasizes esoteric, perennial, and inclusive aspects, distinguishing it from mainstream Islamic psychology. Scholars outside the Islamic tradition, such as Robert Frager and others in transpersonal psychology, have integrated Sufi knowledge with empirical modern psychology to create a holistic approach covering ontology, epistemology, axiology, and methodology.
