Transcendental Meditation (TM) is highly effective for properly selected individuals when administered by knowledgeable practitioners, but it is not a universal cure. When used indiscriminately, clinical evidence suggests the technique can trigger serious psychiatric issues, including depression, agitation, and schizophrenic decompensation.
