Recent clinical studies report marked improvements in mental health from psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy, with safety and efficacy as primary objectives. Evidence suggests psilocybin is safe in controlled environments and a valid therapeutic alternative to other psychiatric medications, but further research is needed to determine its efficacy and safety for potential medical applications.
