The article describes the transformation of shamanism in post-Soviet Russia from individual practice to collective forms, emphasizing spiritual healing and religious activity. The revival of shamanism and the spread of neoshamanism have given rise to two lines of magical-mystical practices: one oriented toward national roots, which created shamanic organizations and power hierarchies culminating in a 'Supreme shaman of Russia,' and another using Western know-how to develop new creative and spiritual activities with global connections. Both lines are not geographically confined and continue to evolve. The article examines specific groups and their leaders, focusing on the magical-medical component of their activities, including during the pandemic.
