Ecstasy tablets intoxication with lethal autcome

A 17-year-old boy died after ingesting ecstasy. Toxicological analysis of his organs using high-performance liquid chromatography detected MDMA and its metabolites in all samples. The highest concentrations were found in the stomach (835.97 μg/g) and kidney (801.14 μg/g), while the lowest was in the liver (22.26 μg/g). These results indicate abuse of a high dose of ecstasy caused his death.
