Deeply Human and Deeply AI Self-Transcendence: The Potential for Sonic Communication in a Shared Holographic Workspace

A multi-layered ethical architecture is proposed to align advanced AI systems with human values in global decision-making. Grounded in Layered Intelligence Theory and Logic in Reality, the framework integrates human and artificial cognition across scales, from individual decisions to planetary collective intelligence. Central to this approach is the Vulnerability–Pluralism Model, which defines vulnerability as a universal moral baseline and pluralism as the minimum condition for legitimate governance. This ensures safeguards for vulnerable populations while enabling diverse stakeholder oversight in high-stakes contexts. The framework extends prior work incorporating humanistic principles and cosmological perspectives into AI design, linking them to ethical challenges at a planetary scale.
