Cosmic Memory, Universal Consciousness, and Biological Meaning: An Integrative Framework Bridging Conformal Cyclic Cosmology, Orchestrated Objective Reduction, and the Universal Consciousness Field

European Journal of Theoretical and Applied Sciences March 31, 2026 Javier Burgos-Salcedo

Three independently developed theoretical frameworks—the GENESIS hypothesis, Orchestrated Objective Reduction (Orch OR) theory, and the Universal Consciousness Field model—converge on the idea that consciousness is a fundamental feature of reality, not merely a product of brain activity. The frameworks propose that biological information from previous cosmic cycles survives transitions between aeons as squeezed quantum states, reducing the possible configurations for early life by about 10^64 orders of magnitude. Orch OR suggests that quantum coherence in microtubules enables moments of conscious experience through gravitationally mediated wave-function collapse. The Universal Consciousness Field model posits consciousness as a pre-spatiotemporal field whose symmetry-breaking at the Big Bang gave rise to both physical structure and awareness. Together, they imply that genetic, metabolic, and neural codes are cosmologically conserved meaning-structures reflecting the logic of consciousness itself.
