The Compassionate Heart and the Quantum Transpersonal Shift: A New Framework for Transformational Psychology
Journal of Quantum Science of Consciousness. June 29, 2026 Antoinette Layoun
Sustainable psychological transformation requires an integrative framework that accounts for emotional memory, psychophysiological regulation, embodied experience, and expanded dimensions of consciousness. Compassion activates heart coherence, creating physiological and perceptual conditions for reorganizing conditioned patterns. Contractive emotional triggers are past collapses of possibility encoded in emotional memory, producing somatic tightening and perceptual narrowing. When compassion is directed toward this activation, the system shifts into a coherent state with increased vagal tone, synchronized cardiac-neural oscillations, and enhanced regulatory stability, making emotional memory malleable for reconsolidation.
