Applications of Altered States of Consciousness in Daily Life
Anthropology of Consciousness September 1, 1994 Ruth‐Inge Heinze
Different states of consciousness have distinct qualities that, when recognized, can enhance self-knowledge, balance behavior, and guide action. Workshops in the United States, Russia, Lithuania, and Estonia illustrate the type of material retrieved during these states. Techniques for accessing different states of consciousness are evaluated and shown to be applicable to everyday life.
