The correlation between mindfulness and relapse prediction in individuals with substance use disorder: a cross-sectional study from Turkey.

Among 193 individuals diagnosed with substance use disorder at a university hospital psychiatry clinic in Turkey, greater urge to use substances was linked to a higher likelihood of use, while mindfulness levels decreased as both the urge and likelihood of use increased. The study used the Mindful Attention Awareness Scale and the Relapse Prediction Scale to measure these relationships.
