Psilocybin shows promise for treating neuropsychiatric disorders, but its relationship with seizures and epilepsy is paradoxical. A narrative review of literature up to November 2025 examined this connection. The review suggests that while psilocybin may have therapeutic potential, its effects on seizure activity are complex and not fully understood, requiring further investigation to clarify risks and benefits.
