Medical biometrics based on Gas Discharge Visualisation technology approach to survival research: A case study

International Journal of Studies in Psychology February 4, 2026 Raul Valverde, Konstantin Korotkov, Jennifer Hamilton et al.

Gas discharge visualisation (GDV) technology, which measures electro-photonic emission from fingertips, is proposed as a tool to test whether personality and consciousness survive physical death. A case study measured psychoemotional functions via GDV before and after death, then used a statistical test for the difference of means to compare average energy values. Preliminary results suggest the technology may have potential to support the survival hypothesis, though the text reports only that the difference was assessed for statistical significance without providing specific numbers or the test outcome.
